Here's how I recovered my situation: 1. Boot from openSolaris CD 2. Import the pool 'zpool import' to list it 'zpool import -f <pool>' This took quite some time. I guess it had to check/repair it, so I went to lunch. 3. Export the pool again 'zpool export <pool>' 4. Reboot 5. Import the pool again. 6.
