Depends how much bandwith you have and how recent you want the backup to be.
Possible solutions if you have a high enough bandwith are using
mirroring in ZFS with one of the sides of the mirror being an iSCSI
target on another machine. Or for a similar solution using AVS (see the
opensolaris storage community).
