I undestand your perspective, but if we all focus on production and
nobody covers recruiting, we are just fighting a losing battle of attrition.
One of the primary goals for the PMC (assuming my involvement, 'natch)
is to cover such recruiting efforts so that everyone else can focus on
contributing code.
I think we can sacrifice one or two contributors in an effort to bring
in new blood. But we are not going to be on anyone's radar until one of
us steps up the the podium...
