Required Skills

·         At least (8) years of experience working as a reports developer creating and fine tuning SQL reports from data stored in various relational databases;

·         At least (8) years of experience developing complex SQL queries; developing detailed SQL reporting specifications; aggregating, analyzing, validating, and/or reconciling data from heterogeneous data sources, e.g. MS SQL Server, MS Access, Oracle, XML files, CSV files, text files, etc);

·         At least (5) years of experience monitoring the performance of reports and taking corrective action to optimize or improve the performance of the reports when necessary;

·         At least (5) years of experience working with Microsoft products/tools such as SQL Server 2005/8, SQL Server Reporting Services, etc.;

·         At least (5) years of experience working with Oracle products/tools such as, Oracle databases, Reports, Discoverer, etc

·         At least (3) years of experience working with products/tools in the areas of data warehousing, enterprise business data reporting, metadata registry, etc.;

·         At least (3) years of experience designing and implementing business intelligence (BI) reports using various BI reporting tools such as Oracle Enterprise BI Server, SAP Business Objects and/or Net Weaver BI, SAS Enterprise BI Server, MS SSAS/SSRS, IBM Cognos, etc.;

·         At least (2) years of working experience with health-care related IT applications/systems;

·         Has a 4-year Bachelor degree or higher in science/engineering fields;

·         Has understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.

 

Desirable Skills

·         Knowledge of Health Care System;

·         Knowledge of Java and .Net;

·         Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005/2008 and Oracle Databases;

·         Proven ability to work both in a team environment and independently;

·         Excellent oral communication skill; and

·         Excellent technical writing skill.
