My suggestion is simple again. Allow overrun attacks at face value like a
normal attack. That way the Russian army gets ripped up. Overrun attacks
would be a 3mp cost plus terrain but you ignore zoc.
That way the 1-4 defense in depth to stop overruns goes away. You could give the russian more manpower to make up for the overrun rule. And since the russians could overrun also later in the war, they may breakout also. This keeps a single 6-5 between stacks defense from happening. a 1-5 that has 3-6 8-6's next to it should not be safe at all. Also consider that you would need reserves to feed into overrun attacks to break open the lines at a point. You would have to fortify Lenningrad and make that harder to take also. Perhaps a fort like Maginot in each of the Lenningrad hexes. Historically Germans should reach Minsk in one week. There is no way you can do that except the Russian be a total idiot. You could also add some 4-4s to the south to slow it down! _______________________________________________ WarInEur mailing list WarInEur@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://mailman.halisp.net/mailman/listinfo/warineur |
