Intentionally violating the rules because an interface if defective is not a
'bug', there is a traditional word for such a practice.
I caution new players to investigate the perspective opponent?s philosophy
before committing to a 1+ year effort. It only takes one unethical opponent
for a novice player to cease interest in the hobby. In contrast, If both
players agree, you can dispense with die rolls and declare the value of your
die rolls. This would make it unnecessary for some players to revert to save
to erase unsuccessful attacks, etc. However such practices to be unacceptable
in the larger player body and all tournament play.
What one player may deems legitimate, another would call cheating. If you cant
trust your opponent, there is not point in playing. This concept is most often
not recognized by players whose play is primarily vs AI where anything is
allowed.
