    This ECO kit provides a new version of UCX$IPC_SHR.EXE for MultiNet
    V5.2 Rev A and MultiNet V5.1 Rev A for OpenVMS.  This version of
    UCX$IPC_SHR.EXE corrects the following problems:

        - Correct errors in the implementation of GETNAMEINFO.

    This also includes fixes for the following problems:

        - Correct errors in select that can cause problems for Alpha programs
          that use threads.

        - Provide DNS resolver entry points for SPF support for PMDF and
          PreciseMail Anti-Spam.  Note that this increases the size of the
          executable significantly.

        - Removing looping for sends greater than 65535 bytes for
          VMS V8 (Alpha and Integrity) that was introduced in

          use KERNEL-UPDATE-070_A052, for MultiNet V5.1 use
          KERNEL-UPDATE-190_A051.
