Using flashblock or even adblock you can stop the flash being downloaded and that sorts it, that's what I've done. If you google groups for southern electric in this group then you'll find I first raised this exact same problem on the 14th May *2007*, so their claim that it's started in the last few months is a bit crap. I reported the problem to them at the time and they said they would get a fix in place...
