I have just moved my PC from one room to another at home. Now, when I insert a CD into the optical drive, my PC reboots without warning and without displaying any error messages. I have tried using different CDs, of types CD-R and CD-RW. Apart from physically relocating my PC (very carefully) I have not installed any new software or made any configuration changes. I have performed a full security scan (anti-virus, spyware, port- probe, etc.) – all clear. I have also performed a System Restore to a stable date. The same thing keeps happening. Any suggestions please? |
