Almost certainly off. LBA is needed for disks larger than the CHS
limits of 1024cylinders x 16 heads x 63 sectors, or 512megabytes. I
don't recall Miniscribe making drives that big.
If it is.. then between basic CHS and LBA there was another scheme,
LARGE, which worked up to 4gig (or maybe 8, I forget - LBA was fully
working by the time 8gig drives were affordable so LARGE had died
out).
Generally speaking, if you choose the wrong mode you wouldn't be able
to read the drive. However, I *think* that CHS and LBA are basically
equivalent up to the 512meg limit of CHS.
