Thanks John.  It doesn't half cripple the machine tho, and odd thing is
nothing much shows up in Task Mangler.  Think the highest-CPU process
shown was svchost.exe doing its usual backdoor tattling to M$ HQ.

It wouldn't be any good setting AVG to scan in the small hours as mate
is the unplug-TV-before-going-to-bed type.
