In message <48ee8107$0$23188$da0feed9@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, GB <NOTsomeone@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> writes I got collared by one of the neighbours last night, Asda are selling off their stock of Acer Aspire machines for £190 complete with a 17" TFT. Not sure of the spec yet but will be later today when I set it all up for them (don'cha just love it when all your neighbours know what you do for a living)Why not get a new Dell PC with 1 yr warranty D102012 is £163 delivered. You'd need to allow for a RAM upgrade on top of that, as it comes with 1 gig. Is there anything from the existing machine you could sell to bring it back into budget? The Dell comes with XP, so maybe you could sell the exiting Windows licence? -- Clint Sharp |
