With a TDP of 80W, the E5335 actually seems to be very efficient. More than any Core 2 Quads, in fact. But that model has not got Speedstep, and you have got two of them. Your server would probably be using over 250W (with a low power graphics card) 24 hours of the day. That's only worthwhile if it was a busy all the time. My home server, which idles most of the time uses just over 60W. ss. |
