Wireless Lan Adaptor Make: Unknown
Chipset: ZyDAS ZD1211
I have downloaded XP drivers for the above LAN adaptor and installed
them. When I insert the UAB LAN adaptor I get the usual 'Ding Dong'
sound of a USB device being found, the device then loads the installed
drivers and I am informed that the devise is installed and working
properly. A few seconds later I hear 'Dong Ding' and the wireless icon
has disappeared. When I look in device manager the USB LAN adaptor is
not shown. If I unplug the adaptor and re-insert it the installation
repeats and again fails.
Also it's hard to un-install the drivers if the device does not show up
in device manager and in control panel uninstall.
Any Ideas?
