I agree about no alternatives. Though I have it and seems obvious bugs to
anyone, the devs have not fixed. However I think it works just fine under
Debian. Ubuntu is too noob oriented for them to ship with SELinux like Fedora
does. I'd been using Fedora since its early days when you had to be a hacker to
get everything to work right.

An alternative to SELinux is not an option.
