Unfortunately, I'm not sure whether I understand your mail correctly.
If you want to work with both Ubuntu and Windows at the same PC, install
both OS systems in one of the ways indicated below.
'Partition' the Hard-Disk if you have only one - in that case you should
install Ubuntu in one partition and Windows in another one.
If you have two hard disks in the PC, install Ubuntu in one of them and
Windows in the other.
In both cases, you need to choose between Ubuntu and Windows shortly
after setting the PC into motion: the so-called 'dual-boot'.
