To add to that, I generally add a rule as well as soon as I see a thread I
don't like to immediately move all those with the same subject to the
trash/deleted items folder.
Good luck finding that last line at the bottom of each e-mail partner! : )

However, unless you consider that you already know everything about
Ubuntu that you need to know, may I suggest setting up a filter to put
them in their own folder which can then be threaded.
There are a lot of messages but I've found this makes them easier to
manage. You can just delete those threads that don't interest you.
