Starting the Rsync Daemon (rsyncd) on boot

rsync --daemon

I am little fuzzy on configuring services in Ubuntu.

The rsyncd sevice is nowhere to be found in the Administration tools as far as
I can tell and I don't know how to add it to the applet, if I can.

I have tried starting it on boot with the appropriate entries in both rc.local
and inetd.conf. I just realized I spelled it wrong in rc.local, maybe that
will work. Anyway, I would to find some good information on configuring and
starting services such as rsycnd in Ubuntu. I did find the script for starting
rsync and like I said, it does work as I can start it from a terminal session
without any problems or errors with the command above and it works great.

Would appreciate any light that could be shed on this. I even did a search on
the wiki but pretty much came up empty handed.

Thanks.

Clint
