Sorry Magnus... haven't heard of any work around.  Have you ever used it with Breezy? If you have...did it work well?
I posted it as a bug but so far I have gotten no response...

I does also have this problem in Dapper on my Mother in Law's computer.
It can take several times to get it work, if at all. Is there a
workaround for the problem any where?
