Thank you for the help.
A person from this list helpfully sent me the icons I needed off list,
and the instructions on list enabled me to install them.
As for making FireFox the default browser, it turned out to be in
System | Preferences | Preferred Applications. I had to set the web
browser with a custom path, but that was all.
Your time in answering my question is much appreciated.
