D'après quelques brèves lectures dénichées par google, ça ne serait pas
configuré automatiquement par Xorg mais j'ai quand même quelques doutes.
Pour tester comme il faut, je te suggère de procéder ainsi :
Ordinateur éteint, brancher la carte USB et relier un écran à cette carte.
Allumer le PC et démarrer Ubuntu.
Si l'écran relié à la carte VGA USB ne s'allume pas, va faire un tour
dans le menu Système / Préférences / Résolutions de l'écran
Regarde si tu peux y détecter / ajouter / configurer un deuxième écran.
Si tu ne trouve pas de moyen ainsi, il te faudra procéder avec
l'ancienne méthode manuelle :
Editer le fichier /etc/X11/xorg.conf
et y ajouter quelques sections ressemblant à ça :
Section "Device"
Identifier "Magic Control Technology Corp. SVGA Adapter"
Driver "sisusb"
EndSection
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "SyncMaster"
Option "DPMS"

Section "Screen"
