I'd prefer a milestone. To me, "In Progress" with an assignee
only indicates an attempt to fix it (or a plan to fix it), but not
necessarily a committment within a specific timeframe (or at all: it
may be that the assignee's solution doesn't work, or the assignee is
otherwise unable to fix the bug, and later needs to unassign
