Only if you enable mdns to look outside .local (which is plain stupid)
Actually, if you put .local in your search path (/etc/resolv.conf)
then if www.ubuntu.com doesn't resolve for some reason it will look
for www.ubuntu.com.local. This is noted in the mDNS spec as MUST NOT.
So just please don't do that and you'll be fine.
