RHEL3 maximum disk size?

Hi,

What is the maximum *disk* size RHEL3 (current update) can handle
with its standard (partitioning) tools?  And in RHEL4?

AFAIK, the max ext3 filesystem size is 2TB now for RHEL3 and 8 TB
for RHEL4: is this correct?

P.S.
Background is the use of RAID cabinets that provide a huge virtual
disk to the system.
