The pattern of results simplified by Ignacio so far for n = 3 and 4
seem to get into a definite pattern of f(a, b, c, n) = 0 as:

(b + a)(b - a) = a c
(b + a)(b - a)^2 = a c^2
(b + a)^2(b - a)^2 = a c (a c + b^2 + c^2 - a^2)

whether Maple/Mathematica would simplfy for a general n in terms of
Tschebycheff expressions?

Narasimham
