Ya know, the gloves are off, and I was just sitting here thinking about when
anger hurts. I came to the following conclusion, that mathematicians have
been lieing to the public for at least 4,000 years.

Modern mathematics is based on existence. Nonexistence is not considered to
be a very useful thing, but it does show up quite frequently in proofs and
elsewhere. Try this.

Ordinarily, when you want to do some calculus, you go to your blackboard and
you draw some axes. x,y,z axes. R2, R3, whatever.

Lets say that you dont have that. You dont even have dimension. Back it up
just a little farther, and start again with nothingness. Absolute nothing.
No length, no R1, no R2, no nothing. Basically, it's trivial space, or
nonspace, or simply nonexistence. Now, lets start from this point and try to
do some calculus.

- Start with absolute nothingness.

- Then you have to create some length somehow. So, out of nothingness you
declare a small chunk of length to exist. Now, just imagine this for a
second. You have nothingness, and there is a small chunk of length sitting
in it. Clearly, this is nothing like R3. Your little chunk of length can be
literally anywhere in trivial space, clearly a probabilistic and trivial
issue.

- And perhaps, it is most appropriate to state that this little chunk of
length is said to exist with probability P. Perhaps we cannot simply say
that "it exists". Perhaps we _must_ specify that it exists with some
probability P. If this makes any sense from a heuristic standpoint, then the
question of nonlocality in physics is practically solved.

It seems (from physics) that probability is a bridge between existence and
triviality. That existence fades into uncertainty and then to triviality and
perhaps nonexietence. I'm very interested in this relationship between
existence and uncertainty - if anyone has ever heard of anything like this
please post.
