Well, they actually made a net loss with me. Call me stupid, but I
once gave my credit card number for some "age verification, this is
completely free" idiocy, the page with the promised password failed to
produce and I forgot about it again until the next credit card bill.
US$49.99 (sounds like 50 would be threshold for criminal action or
something) from some company I never heard of. I promptly protested
at my credit card company and the company in question. The credit
card company reverted the payment process, and the company booked back
the money, too.
Having learnt my lesson, I can thus proudly claim to have made a net
profit in the industry, and I don't plan to ruin that record.
