It is called simply "Gerolsteiner". And I severely doubt that "Gerol"
has anything to do with "Geröll". ("Geröll" btw is a collective of
"rollen" - to roll; the literal meaning is "stuff that rolls around",
and it is used to denote stones/rocks that have rolled down a
mountainside ('rubble').
