Evenin' all. What's general opinion on this kind of thing? Naughty,
don't care, good for business and punters?
"US customs agents say they have seized eight tonnes of prehistoric
fossils - including dinosaur eggs - which they suspect were smuggled
from Argentina.
After an undercover operation, agents raided a fossil show in Arizona
where the items were said to be on sale.
Among them were three dinosaur eggs - worth an estimated $4,000 each.
A US customs spokesman in Arizona said it was shameful that someone
would plunder prehistoric treasures to line their own pockets.
The fossils also include prehistoric pine-cones and crab claws.
Customs agents say they began investigating after receiving a tip from
Interpol, which said that a vendor at the Gem, Mineral and Fossil
Showcase in Tucson, Arizona, might be selling fossils belonging to the
Argentine government.
The customs operation is continuing. So far no arrests have been made."
