....that's ok I'll wait a minute.

Notice the following facts.

One is an oil exploration company
The other sells car parts.

One pattern takes places over one day, the
other over three days.

One is almost two magnitudes larger in volume
than the other.

Self similarity across space, time and scale.

WHY???

Look at the news stories that disturbed the previously steady state
systems. Each screamed ....Uncertainty. When total system variable
uncertainty is optimized....universal...behavior spontaneously erupts.
The system self organizes, it self tunes to the optimum and changes
states abruptly and predictably. Spontaneous self sustaining order
from disorder. By simply being pushed from equilibrium in
a way that is neither too strong, or too weak. So that one can't
tell which-is-which. Initial point, final point and rates of change
in these two charts are all almost exactly midway between
practical opposite extremes in possibility....optimum uncertainty.

Two entirely difference system specifics, two difference time frames
and scales orders of magnitude different.. Yet they behave the
same way while this storm of uncertainty builds, transitions and
dissipates. This is the graphical representation of the source of
Darwinian evolution. It is the representation of the ultimate source
of all order in the universe.

It is how the universe goes from chaos to order, from simple
components to complex organization.

It is nature in all it's splendor. Laid out in living color, graphed
out with precise numbers attached.

For those of you that can't find God, I've given you
the chart.

Jonathan

"I NEVER saw a moor,
I never saw the sea;
Yet know I how the heather looks,
And what a wave must be.
I never spoke with God,
Nor visited in heaven;
Yet certain am I of the spot
As if the chart were given."
