Ahh, as was suggested by Aidan, "Drongo" would fit.
Or Galah. The Galah is supposedly the stupidest and slowest species of
bird in Australia, (too stupid and slow to get out of the way of an
oncoming car, for instance). It has become a term to describe the most
outstanding of morons.
dictionary.reference.com/search?q=galah">http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=galah
the entry for drongo at that location doesn't discuss the derogatory
term, but Aidan is correct.
www.koalanet.com.au/australian-slang.html">http://www.koalanet.com.au/australian-slang.html has drongo as "a
dope, a stupid person"
the same place has:
Galah : fool, silly person. Named after the bird of the same name
because of its antics and the noise it makes.
I suggest Galah.
Galahs aren't stupid, by the way, they are easily trained. It's just
there are so damn many of them.
