Totally bogus.

There are tungsten side reactions involving sublimination and such that happen as little as several hundred degrees.

That was what grossly mislead the original Brown's gas fiascoites.

There is no reason whatsoever to believe that their system produces anything but the standard temperatures found in the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics.

Which, BTW, is LESS than acetylene in temperature and ridiculously less than acetylene in deliverable heat energy.
