Your giving me an idea... a car engine where 1/3 or 1/4 of the
cylindars are heated by the others there is no comression stroke. once
the piston reaches the top of the cylindars, water is injected into the
cylindar, it instanly turns to steam for a little extra umph and some
engine cooling.
A much better and a much simpler approach is to go to a six cycle engine.
Cycles five and six use uncompressed fueleless air.
Requires electrically variable valves, but significantly increases
engine efficiency and reduces pollution during stop and go traffic.
