I often need to position the limbs and antennae of dead insects in order to do very close-range photographs. Does anyone have any ideas on how the parts can be kept in place without a long drying period. I have tried such things as transparent nail polish and varnish but neither work very well. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. At present I am trying to keep the mandables of a King Cricket in an extended position so that they can be clearly seen and illustrated. |
