Hornets do not sting very often, mostly because they usually live away from people. As far as I know, their sting is quite painfull. The bigger the wasp, the more venom they supply, the worse their sting. If possible, just stay out of their way and they won´t bother you. Actually these big wasps are very usefull because they eat a lot of insects like caterpillars, mosquitos, flies etc. |
