Criticism is necessary, if a product is going to improve.

It doesn't revamp the user interface eliminating the classical 
menu bar (and hiding options that used to be available there). 
It doesn't denigrate the classical DOS full screen mode so that 
you can play Halo II in their newest (enforced) video mode.  It 
doesn't leave obvious holes in security so that third parties can 
install addins because the third party would be upset if they 
couldn't.  It doesn't update to install obvious bugs to get you 
to upgrade to newer software.

Micro$haft makes me want to do that too.  But it is still off 
topic in this (sci.astro, sci.physics) newsgorup.
