Having (thankfully!) missed most of this topic it seems that someone wants something to switch on at dusk and off at dawn. 1. There is a big difference in "lighting up time" between clear evenings /mornings and cloudy ones which will be tricky to program in. 2. There are optical sensors which will cope with the task of switching when the ambient light level crosses a preset threshold without recourse to correcting for leap seconds. -- Rodney Blackall (retired meteorologist)(BSc, FRMetS, MRI) Buckingham, ENGLAND Using Acorn SA-RPC, OS 4.02 with ANT INS and Pluto 3.03j |
