This post is not rooted in eurocentrism or not to argue against eurocentrism, or bias in the science toward eurocentrism. It is to drive home why interest in one place can create valid interest in other places, and the connection can be genetic, cultural or archeological. These things don't need to be said, but sometimes it is worthy to say them. As many of you have read some of my replies and postings I often focus on Ireland and may seem to do so arbitrarily. Is it because I love the Irish, or something else. Yeah Philip, I guess you was a bit shocked when you discovered how "Ethnic biased" and "Euro centric" you were in your postings. -- p.a. |
