The initial phase of Stonehenge III, starting about 2000 BC. In the
centre of Stonehenge a horseshoe formation
of five trilithons was erected, each of which consisted of a pair of
large stone uprights supporting a stone lintel.
Meaning so far unknown.
In the Atlantis tale of Critias it is said that the kingdom of Atlantis
was ruled by five twin brothers. Supporting the view that the Atlantis
story could be in its origin a dorian story ?
(The link between the trilithons and the five twin brothers is not my
idea but I don´t remember where I got it )
