Here's a quibble for you. An F-4 can sustain level flight in 90 degrees of bank at 500 KIAS. BT, DT. There's enough plane area on the fuselage side to generate sustaining lift at that velocity near sea level. Sweep angle? Gotta admit it must be zero at the intake lip. Walt BJ |
