If I read japanese, I wouldn't be buying the American edition anyway.
The companies would have no reason to cater to me. I also wouldn't
care if the American companies made changes, because it doesn't effect
me, as I'd be reading the originals. (Sorry, if I were to take up
causes on behalf of others, there's just more important issues out
there).
Its pretty much a terrible plan.
