Hi Andre,
Safety critical applications are subject to scrutiny by an external
governing body, such as the FDA, FAA, etc. So, your designs and
applications must be deterministic. Else, your application won't get
certified! :-)
Even if you put something on a train for example, standards for safety
critical application development do apply. It is probably an emerging
market for Qt, e.g. embedded GUI devices in cars developed using Qt,
etc, so you will have questions like asked in the future. :-)
