Dialog based app and keyboard shortcuts?

Qt4 on fedora 8 - I've got a small app based on a QDialog (not a main window)
and a context menu in the app. When I try adding keyboard shortcuts to the
context menu QActions. they don't seem to work. Do I have to do extra
work somewhere to make shortcuts function in a QDialog based app?
