QtDesigner[4.2.1]: Questions about QActionGroup and QDockWidget

As long as I'm asking questions that are certain to make me look stupid...

1) How do you build a QActionGroup?  It appears you have to do this "by
hand" now.

2) Where do you drop a QDockWidget so that it does not become part of the
central widget (making it rather useless)?
