this may not answer the question, but :
- I have given up using autotools with QT4, because I don't know of a script
working with kdevelop, and for now I'm stuck with qmake.
- having qmake, you may want to try qconf, that *should* produce autothing
for you (at least it's the purpose of qconf, but i have not tried it yet).
But my understanding is that you are trying to do exactly the reverse ...
