I've never installed QT using YaST. Is it possible to turn on support
MySQL, pgsql, and gif from there?
Thanks for the help.

You could simply install it with YaST:
Add a new installation source:
Server: repos.opensuse.org
Directory: /KDE:/Qt/openSUSE_10.2/
Protocol: HTTP
or just:
http://software.opensuse.org/download/KDE:/Qt/
