Cursor in QTextEdit

I haven't received a response to the following yet --- is it too trivial to
answer?  I'm using Version 3.2.1

Can some please point me to an example of how to modify the QTextEdit
cursor?  The default (an narrow vertical bar) is difficult to see.  I'd
prefer a wide vertical bar or even a box.
