Distributing a qwidget

I would like to do the following :

On computer A, a program PA ask to the program PB situated on computer B 
for a widget (a config dialog box). PA then displays the widget in its 
own GUI.

Has anybody done this ? And if so, how ? I would prefer a portable 
solution, but a Windows-only solution will do too.
