If this Qt version is for SUSE 9.0, then I guess they've used the same 
compiler. If so that shouldn't be an issue.

Can you confirm the plugin was built against the same version of Qt?

Does it link with libqt or libqt-mt? What are the outputs of ldd applied 
to the designer executable and to the plugin?
