Senior Unix Systems Developer
Salary: 90 to 120K

Department:Engineering

Reports to:
Manager, Development

Responsibilities:

. Work with manager and architects to define development deliverables and 
effort
estimates
. Develop new modules and enhance existing software to support new 
requirements
and functionality on existing products
. Work with the development manager and Quality Assurance to resolve 
customer
issues
. Position involves designing, developing and supporting software for 
carrier and
service provider class network security devices

Requirements:

. Excellent knowledge of
. C and C++
. Unix system APIs and Internals
. TCP/IP Application programming
. Network Protocol development
. Strong written and oral communications

. Following skills are a plus:
. Experience with kernel development
. Experience with Unix device driver development
. Network Security and secure computing
. Basic UNIX systems administration
. Voice, Instant Messaging and/or Video over IP protocols

Skills and Background

. Minimum of 10 years professional programming experience in a UNIX
environment
. Computer Science or related Engineering degree
